This exquisite 1912 Lancia 30HP, chassis number 906, is an exceptional and historically significant automobile. Originally imported into the United States as a bare chassis by Adams-Lancia Company of New York, the official marque representative for Lancia in the US and Canada, this car was custom-bodied by renowned local coachbuilder J.M. Quinby & Co. Known for their meticulous craftsmanship, Quinby was notably the exclusive US agent for Isotta Fraschini and supplied elegant aluminium coachwork for prestigious marques including Lancia, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Panhard, and F.I.A.T.
The car still proudly bears the original dealer plate attached to its firewall, a testament to its authenticity and well-documented provenance. While the exact details of its early ownership remain elusive, this Lancia eventually made its way back to Europe, becoming a cherished part of Count Giovanni Lurani’s famed collection.
Remarkably preserved, this car remains largely unrestored, retaining approximately 90% of its original interior. Today, it is celebrated as perhaps the finest surviving 30HP Lancia globally, fully operational and ready to grace any prestigious automotive collection or concours event.
This Lancia 30HP is a rare and highly coveted classic, offering a unique opportunity to acquire a vehicle of outstanding heritage, authenticity, and elegance.
